Growing Experience, the Wonderful Ordination of the Creator

Looking back on my growth experience, I truly see the ordination of God though it is full of variables. From my childhood, my mother asked me to learn the violoncello, hoping I could join a band when I grew up. Since then, I had been always pursuing on that path. When I graduated from the junior high school, I received a call from a conservatory of music which asked me to attend their interview. However, I missed it because I overslept. As a result, I went astray from the path my mother set for me.

We still haven’t determined whether God’s kingdom is on earth or in heaven. The Lord Jesus once talked about “the kingdom of heaven being at hand” and “the kingdom of heaven coming.” If it is the kingdom of heaven, it should be in heaven. How can it be on earth?

Answer: We should all be clear that “Heaven” is always referred to as God. The “heavenly kingdom” obviously refers to God’s kingdom. Revelation says, “the tabernacle of God is with men,” “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ.” This means that God’s kingdom will be established on earth. In the end, the kingdoms of earth will become God’s kingdom.

What is the Correct Attitude Towards Social Elites?

I was a cashier at a fast food restaurant, working on the ground floor of an office building. Every day there were people from all walks of life having meals in our restaurant, and my workmates often said to me excitedly, “Look, that man is a court judge.” “Hey, have you seen the man over there? He is a doctor, an expert on operations…” Each time, I could not help looking at those people with admiration and envy.

The Good Remedy for My Mother’s Cancer

Ever since I began to understand things, I knew my mom was often ill and had never stopped taking medicines, and that all the work in our home had to be done by my father alone. My mom often burned incense, worshipped Buddha, and even went to some witches for the treatment of her illness, but to no avail. At that time, a blind fortune-teller often came to our village. (Everyone said he was an expert fortune-teller.) He told the villagers that my mom would encounter a crisis at the age of 53. That year, not long after I left home for Japan, my mom was diagnosed with a terminal uterine cancer.

The Lord said it to us long ago: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (Jhn 14:2-3). The Lord Jesus has already reserved a place for us in the heaven. When He returns, He will directly lift us into the kingdom of heaven. If the Lord has already returned, why are all His saints still on the earth? Why haven’t they been raised up?

Answer: The Lord has prepared a place for His believers. That is true. But is this place on earth or in heaven? We’re not really sure about that. We think the heavenly kingdom is in heaven, but that’s based on our own conceptions and imaginations. Is that really the truth, though?
