A Hymn of God's Words Be Quiet Before God

  • A Hymn of God's Words
  • Be Quiet Before God
  • I
  • A heart truly quiet before God
  • won't be troubled by the world,
  • nor person, action or thing;
  • be quiet before God.
  • All negativity disappears,
  • be it conceptions or bad thoughts,
  • philosophies, wrong human ties;
  • be quiet before God.
  • Be quiet before God, relish His words,
  • sing hymns and praise His name.
  • Give Him a chance to work on you;
  • God wants to perfect you.
  • Let Him gain your heart
  • and guide you,
  • this will please Him.
  • Be quiet before Him.
  • II
  • Since you're always
  • pondering God's word,
  • your heart draws closer to Him,
  • it fills you up
  • with all of His actual words.
  • Positive new things leave no space
  • for old thoughts and practice.
  • Don't heed the negative;
  • no need to try hard and control them.
  • Live in His word and
  • communicate more.
  • Be enlightened and illuminated
  • by His Spirit.
  • As you do this, your notions and pride
  • will disappear.
  • And you'll know how to spend,
  • love and satisfy God,
  • unconsciously forgetting
  • all things outside Him.
  • Be quiet before God, relish His words,
  • sing hymns and praise His name.
  • Give Him a chance to work on you;
  • God wants to perfect you.
  • Let Him gain your heart
  • and guide you,
  • this will please Him.
  • Be quiet before Him,
  • this will please Him.
  • Be quiet before Him,
  • this will please Him.
  • Be quiet before Him.
  • from "On Quieting Your Heart Before God" in The Word Appears in the Flesh
  •     The Church of Almighty God came into being because of the appearance and work of Almighty God—the returned Lord Jesus—Christ of the last days, and also under His righteous judgment and chastisement. The church is comprised of all those who truly accept Almighty God’s work of the last days and are conquered and saved by God’s word. It was entirely founded by Almighty God personally, and is personally led and shepherded by Him, and it was by no means set up by any man.
